Dr. Noel C. Sanchez is a colon-rectal surgeon practicing with Wichita Surgical Specialists. His specialty is colorectal surgery, and he has interests in robotic surgery as well as colon and rectal cancer.

Born in Mexico City, Mexico, Dr. Sanchez received his Doctor of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita.

“I became interested in colorectal surgery early on as a general surgery resident,” Dr. Sanchez said. “I had excellent mentors, and I enjoyed the variety and complexity of the patients and cases.”

Dr. Sanchez’s goal as a colorectal surgeon is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with colorectal conditions, utilizing state-of-the-art surgical techniques and evidence-based practices to achieve the best possible outcomes. “I aim to improve each patient’s quality of life through personalized treatment plans, focusing not only on disease management but also on preventive care and patient education,” he said. “I strive to enhance patient recovery, minimize complications and contribute to the advancement of colorectal health and surgical practices.”

Dr. Sanchez is excited to be a part of the medical community at Wichita Surgical Specialists. His biggest wish for his patients is their overall well-being and a return to a healthy, fulfilling life.

His hobbies outside of medicine revolve around his kids’ activities. He is also a gravel-road cyclist and plays golf whenever his schedule allows.
